According to a Wall Street Journal blog, the firms are contemplating creating a feed to show posts from the social network.
Chris Thomas, an SEO expert, said the deal would alter the way organisations approach SEO because the search engine would have access to huge number of new pages, reports Smart Company.

"Google has responded to the real-time search thing by speeding up its indexing capabilities, but it's just not quick enough to keep up with the likes of Twitter which has millions of tweets. Google robots can't index everything and they need something like this to help," he commented.
The professional explained that people creating an SEO strategy would need to tweet to a site if someone searched for it.
He added that a deal between the companies would make sense as Google has already responded to the real-time search capabilities of Twitter. It did this by making its search filters faster and more relevant.
